Photos: Noise Pop + Cafe Du Nord Present: Tom Petty Benefit for Puerto Rico, Las Vegas, and North Bay Area

We were electrified to get to join virtually all of our extended-musical-family onstage to honor the late, great Tom Petty in an impromptu benefit for Puerto Rico + Las Vegas + the North Bay Area fire victims.

Over 40 musicians from a multitude of SF bands, including Goodnight, Texas, Con Brio, The Family Crest, Midnight North, Kelly McFarling and the Home Team, M. Lockwood Porter, We Became Owls, Farallons, Tumbleweed Wanderers, Mike Deni of Geographer, Stelth Ulvang of the Lumineers, Christopher Owens of Curls, John Elliott, Elliott Randall, Misisipi Mike Wolf, and Andrew St. James.

Needless to say, it was one of the most special times we’ve ever been on a stage.

Here’s some pictures capturing Tracey, Chris, and TJ. More here.

Thanks to ND Koster for the photos!

Thank You, Pacific NW!

Pacific Northwest, you have outdone yourself yet again. We’re happy to be back but also missing the road even though this was a short jaunt….but we shall return, and very soon!

We had an amazing time on tour…some highlights include the Adrift Hotel, which is an absolutely lovely little hotel in Long Beach, WA, with the most badass staff of people ever…we’ve never been treated so kindly and civilly. We spent two days there, and let’s just say there were beach bike rides, beach bonfires (are you sensing a theme?), candelit shows in their lovely venue perched seemingly above the world on- you guessed it- a foggy, moorish beach. We will definitely be returning.

We also played an awesome last minute show in Seattle with the very friendly, fun, and talented You, Me and Apollo, and had a blast  up there…pulled off the road at a couple swimming holes in Chico, and Hood River, OR…encountered a black-lit room with a stripper pole (we’re not even going to elaborate on that one), and met some new, amazing people along the way.

It was all capped-off by a victorious return-home show with our buddies in Goodnight, TX, and Fox & Woman at Cafe Du Nord, which was one hell of a lineup and one hell of a good time.

Here are photos from the road…enjoy, and we can’t wait to come back!

Lots of love,

Band Du Nord

Hey y’all, here are a couple photos from our show at Cafe Du Nord on Monday with The Family Crest and The Horde and the Harem. The place was PACKED and we had an amazing time. Love that place, and huge thank you to all of you who came out and were so much fun on a Monday night. I know Tuesday was a big indicator that a good time was had, at least for me. In any case, here are just a couple pics from the night.

We’re about to be tearing up Northern CA and Oregon in April, so come on out to our shows if you’re in any of the areas (check out our Shows page for full dates). Please pass on the word to any friends, family, or enemies you have in those cities, too!

Lots of love, Tracey and the dudes
